Finally

I haven't posted for quite sometime for several reasons. 1. I had to finish my bachelor thesis, which I did 2. I went on a holiday to Berlin 3. My computer has a nasty virus so I have no interent acces. The last problem will hopefully be solved by tomorrow so I am posting this from work on an extremely slow computer. This ofcourse also means that I cannot check my e-mail or read any knitting blogs. What is positive is that I found my digital camera and software so that I can post pictures (because a blog without pictures is quite dull). As for knitting, I am in way over my head working on: Union square market pullover (back armhole shaping almost finished), spiral scarf from Scarfstyle in Rowan cashsoft baby DK which is so soft and yummy that I can't wait to finish, French Market Bag as a knitalong with my mother ( a two person knitalong), Men's Raglan Zipped Cardigan in Kid Classic from Last Minute Knitted Gifts for my beloved boyfriend and Birch the much knitted Rowan Scarf in Kid Silk Haze. The last two I have barely started. I hope to have regained internet acces by tomorrow and I hereby solemnly promise to blog and post pictures!
And Nederlass thanks for the nice e-mail it's nice to know that somebody reads this!

So yet again I am surfing instead of studying which ofcourse is all psychologically explainable (Let's say I am behaving like your typical ostrich). While surfing I did find two great dutch blogs which I am now planning to visit regularly (I am very jealous of nederlass's sock knitting)...If only I could figure out how to post links and such (I will) !I did make a lot of progress on the sweater having knit the first two decreasing rounds. The yarn (Rowan Cashcotton) is very nice and soft and a dream to knit with, no snags!
My mom's visiting today so I had better take a shower.

I hardly did anything today. I did however join the Union square market pullover knitalong, I love the pattern and if I ever figure out how to add buttons on my blog I will add it. After some harrowing moments with the invisible cast on which kept me up until three in the morning it is coming along nicely since it is knitted in the round I don't have to purl. I love Kate Gilbert's designs especially Clapotis which I have also knit and wear all the time like almost everyone else. I went out and had lunch while I should be working on my thesis, well tomorrow is another day. For tonight: Lasagna, knitting and Gordon Ramsay's Hell's kitchen sounds perfect to me!
